2012 RM2000 Product Development Road Map
For 2012, ARS has many planned enhancement items for our RM2000 users. This document will show items by functional area. Some description is given, however one will need to refer to actually tickets for exact specifications.
Route Dispatch Manager – This was a new feature in 2010. This year, we have plans to add a route analyzer tool so that you can use it as a planning tool and to know what happened after the route.
Email Customers – we will be expanding on things that you can email customers. Including marketing messages, calendars and other items.
eStoreFront – Continuing into 2012, we will be enhancing this product significantly. We intend to add more functionality; give you more control over the appearance of the product and in general give you a stronger tool.
Electronic Contracts – This is a new feature that will allow you to create electronic contracts and store them in your system. It will be easier for your customers and make your storage and retrieval easier.
PDF invoice reprint – Better handling of reprints of invoices/delivery notes from the handheld. Easier to display on eStoreFront.
In addition, we have over 200 suggestions from our users that we will also be going through and putting some of them into the product during the course of the year. You are also welcome to submit your suggestions and we will carefully consider them along with those submitted by other RM2000 users.
RM2000 is a growing product. We intend to keep a full development cycle with this product through 2015. This will further help customers who are looking for a lean and mean version of Route Manager at an affordable price.
