Job Description:
Advantage Route Systems is expanding its sales department. As an inside sales representative you will be responsible for selling our world-class route accounting software products to prospects in the United States and 50 other countries. This full time position is for those who have excellent sales skills and an engaging personality with an overwhelming desire to succeed. We are looking for hunters who know how to generate leads through calling, mail and email. If you like to blaze new trails; build relationships and follow your intuition – and are better than most at it – we want to talk to you.Job Overview/Duties
- Develops, solicits, and closes new accounts, generates sales quotes, and handles customer inquiries.
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, the essential functions of this position include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Provides assistance with marketing campaigns (Direct Mail, Broadcast Faxing, web based marketing tools)
- Meets monthly sales goals.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Sends literature and materials to prospective customers.
- Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads
- Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Provides product demos to qualified customers on request.
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Prepares reports of business transactions.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database keeping the sales database current with call information
- Travels to and attends trade shows (occasional).
- Reports to work on time and not excessively absent.Job Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years Sales and Business experienceEDUCATION
- Associate Degree, preferably in Business, CIS, English, or MathematicsOTHER SKILLS
- Attention to detail and customer service
- Strong verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
- You must be outgoing, self-motivated & reliable.
- Knowledge in accounting and business practices helpful
- Capable of juggling multiple projects at one time
- Second language such as Spanish, Arabic or Chinese is helpful
- Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software and/or Autotask Sales/CRM Tracking, Microsoft Excel and Word.You must have above average verbal and written communication skills. A college degree will enhance your ability to be hired for this position. You must be good at math and have good analytical skills. We need you to learn our products quickly and thoroughly.

Marketing Assistant I

Job Description:
The Marketing assistant creates materials to support the sales effort at ARS. Assists with Web marketing and also produces materials for outbound communications and advertising.Job Overview/Duties
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the major duties of this position are:- Generate outbound flyers for several product lines
- Ability to create electronic and mail dispatch for fax, email and post marketing materials
- Keeps database current by industry for prospects
- Assists with Web site and adding products, new features, etc.
- Assists with newsletters and other materials to existing customers.
- Develop creative ideas to market the product and grow sales.
- Develops materials for trade shows and other public advertising
- Ability to develop graphics, artwork and other visual design itemsJob Requirements:
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year related experience is required for this positionEDUCATION
- Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, or English. May be substituted with work experience. A 4 year degree in communications, marketing or graphic design is recommended.OTHER SKILLS
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
- Multi-Task and Detail Oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Customer Service Oriented
- Familiar with ACT!, Outlook, Excel, and Word
